Hi everyone!
As you know, next week (Week 8) is your Midterm Test! For your Midterm, please study Units 1-20 in your "Essential Grammar in Use" textbook, except for Unit 9 (which we didn't study).
Also, next week you will have your Oral Test which will be in Building E (411). If you look on my class website (www.tylereslclass.info), you will see the Marking Rubric which will be using to mark your oral test. If you have any questions about that, please ask me before your test!
To help you study for your Midterm, I will also be putting three online quizzes on my class website which I would like every student to finish this weekend (October 16/17). Your mark on each quiz is not important so don't worry about making too many mistakes. The quizzes are just there to help you prepare for your Midterm! However, if you don't finish the three quizzes, I will minus points from your partcipation mark!!
When you finish each online quiz, please make sure you click on "Submit all and Finish". You only get one attempt to answer each quiz and there's no time limit for each one.
That's it for now. Good luck on all your midterms and study hard!

Week 5
Hi, everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying the nice, cool fall weather! It feels so nice to be outside after such a long, hot, humid summer.
Because of the Chusok holiday, we will be a little busy in the next few weeks before the Midterm Test. Last week, we finished studying about the Present Continuous and Simple Present and I think you guys better understand how to correctly use adverbs of frequency now.
In week 6, we will be studying about Past Tense which will be more exciting because you can share some of your memories with your classmates. To give you more practice, I would also like you to try using a very easy website called http://www.fotobabble.com/. On this site, you can upload a picture, record your voice and then share your presentation with friends. I will demostrate how to use it in class but I will also put a video here so you can watch it later if you don't understand.
This semester is going very quickly and I'm very happy with the amount of participation I have been getting from your class! Keep up the good work!
