Happy Chusok!
I promised to write in my blog every week so I thought I'd better do it before I forget! It feels very strange to have a one week holiday already this semester. It seems like we just started! I think our class is going well so far. We have studied and practiced using the Simple Present, and the Present Continuous. We have also looked at the 'five' forms when studying grammar: positive, negative, yes/no questions, yes/no anwswers, and wh-questions. I think that if you practice these five forms it will definitely help your spoken English. Just like everything you do in life - 'practice makes perfect' and studying a second language is no different:)
Before I finish today, I have a short message for you!

Week 2:
Hi everybody,
It was nice to meet both my Essential Grammar in Use classes this week. All of you made a good first impression and I'm really looking forward to teaching all of you this semester! I hope you enjoy my class and that you can improve your English at the same time.
During the semester, I will be keeping this blog for all my Essential Grammar in Use students so you can read how I feel about your classes. Also, I can post things, like videos, here which will help you understand my website and other things I will be doing in class.
I know some of you are better at multimedia (especially computers) than others so if one of your classmates in having a hard time understanding, please help him/her ok?
In our first class, I asked you to sign up for my website (http://tylereslclass.info/). I think it is a little difficult so I want to help you by posting a video to guide you through the process.
After you sign in, I also want you to edit your profile and upload a picture. I made a second instructional video to help guide you through this process as well. I hope both videos help you!
Talk to you next week!
Also, I will be attaching a few surveys in my blog to see how my students feel about English! Please answer the survey about "Confidence" below!:
